What happens when I connect my wallet?
You sign a simple text message — that's it. This is called SIWE (Sign-In With Ethereum). It proves you own the wallet without giving us any permissions. No token approvals. No transaction signatures. No smart contract interactions. We can't move, transfer, or access your assets. Ever.
Is my wallet safe?
Yes. The signature you provide is read-only proof of ownership. It cannot be used to initiate transactions, approve contracts, or move funds. Your wallet connection is one-time and session-only. We don't store your private keys or seed phrase (we never see them).
Do you support delegate.cash?
Yes. If you've set up delegation via delegate.cash (delegate.xyz), you can connect your hot wallet and we'll automatically detect any CryptoPunks held in your delegating vault. No need to connect your cold wallet or vault.
How do you verify which punks I own?
After you sign the message, our server verifies your signature cryptographically. We then look up your address on the Ethereum blockchain to see which punks you hold. This covers both the original Larva Labs contract and Wrapped CryptoPunks.
What data do you store?
When you mark a punk as available, we store: the punk's ID, your wallet address, the sale type, your ideal price, flexibility level, and any notes you add. This data is never shared publicly. It's visible only to CANON's advisory desk.
Who can see my listings?
Only CANON. Your listings are stored in a private database and are never displayed publicly. No marketplace, no public order book, no on-chain listing.
How do actual transactions work?
When a buyer and seller agree on terms, the transaction happens on the CryptoPunks marketplace (the native Larva Labs contract or Gondi). CANON facilitates the introduction and negotiation — we don't custody assets or process payments.
Can I change or remove my listing?
Yes. Connect your wallet again and you'll see your existing listings in the "Added" section. Tap any listed punk to update the sale type, price, flexibility, or notes. You can withdraw a listing at any time.
